Sorry guys this is a test post.
At long Last its Review Time
I’ve finally got around to getting myself together for writing reviews, articles, features and whatever else comes to mind while armed with a keyboard, or pen and paper. I’ve been saying this for quite awhile now how I’m going to start reviewing games and the like properly “this weekend”, come the weekend I never do. Some call it laziness but I promise you it was partly due to lack of time and energy, thanks school and a few projects I’m working on for that.
I also promise I have never, ever, ever been called lazy, just as I have never in my entire life exaggerated about anything.
At the moment the only platforms I’ll be writing about are the PS3 and PSP, and possibly some older PC titles. I’m not lucky enough to own any other consoles right now, I’m also not lucky enough to have time to play any other consoles properly.
I highly doubt I’ll write any news articles, there’s too many people with more talent than I doing such things. I may give my opinion on news that catches my eye, or sparks a match to light up my imagination.
I don’t know where the pen and paper will take me, whether I’ll just write here, or whether I’ll move up in the world to write for different sites. I have a massive urge to take out notepad++ and restyle this blog. But I’m leaving it as it is for as long as I can, I’ll try and earn a new design. Try and hopefully succeed. How I judge when I’ve earned a new design I dont know yet, I guess it’ll be one of those things I’ll just know when it happens.
That’s the intro finished, now to get writing some real content!
If anyone helps promote me by whatever means I’d be grateful, and be the guy I am, I’d return the favour.
Peace out

Gaming Spree: whats the Deal?
I thought I should write a bit about some of my future plans for Gaming Spree. And for all you people just visiting, about what if offers to you.
Apart from having the usual gaming forum which I should add is spam free although needs an injection of more members, gamer profiles, & groups. Gaming Spree offers all members a fully functioning Blog Site. Although not the best on the web… yet. You’ll have pretty much the same set up as sites such as Joystiq , Psu , and pretty much ever Gaming News site on the internet. 8Although design wise, I admit they’re not yet up to scratch, but hey look at this blog, its looking good am I right?*
On your blog you’ll be able to write reviews on all your favourite games, add writers if you feel like really taking your blog somewhere, track its stats, integrate it into twitter, let people subscribe to it, add video’s to it.
and when you really feel you pulling in the traffic you can add adverts to your blog for that extra bit of income.
All with the piece of mind that your site is run and maintained by someone else. * Dont worry I pay the umpaa Lumpaa’s well*
And soon to come for those of you who want to really push it to the next level: buy a domain name for your blog for all of €10. Which combined with your brilliant Traffic stats and Access to Pr companies *which I can easily help you get started on* :Free pre releases of Games in the post for your to review!
So now I hopefully left you with no excuse but to register, and get reviewing of those games!

Need for Speed: Shift
On 1st starting NFS: Shift an amazing video loads up, showing dreamy super cars being pushed to their limits in races, from a BMW M3 to a a Lambo or Merc. All smartly dressed in their war paint, or as I should say custom vinyls.
On viewing the video, I felt my blood racing through my veins that bit faster, hitting the apex each beat. then I thought “Meh” its only a video, of course its going to look exciting.
On a bit of a downer, the loading screen loaded again. “We’ve got hold of a BMW for this weekends race” I heard the teams captain say. Then I was put into a race .. the car was fast, graphics were great, noise.. well Jeremey Clarkson came to mind screaming “Powwa”
Handling was a bit on the sensitive side for me, but after the 1st race you’re given the chance to edit the driver settings to fit your driving style.
The selection of cars consists of nothing but interesting, dreamy cars. And with NFS’s usual great customization and tuning you can really make any of the cars your own.
With many different race modes, its a game that offers a change form the normal racing, with drifting, driver battles, and elimination events, there’s a race to meets ever drivers sty;e.
To sum NFS Shift up, its a fun, interesting, quick paced game with more than enough power under the hood cars and races to keep you wanting more.
I like the game that much, I’ve based my blog design around it!
Blog Competition
Wrote about the competition on the forums
Although atm I have no way of giving a prize, down the Line I should be able to provide some *hopefully* great prizes ^.^
So for the moment its only a friendly rivalry sort of competition. I’ll set Gs up so that yous can track your blog performance. Every week / month we can then compare visits oand views and see who wins. ![]()
Then maybe to help each other out we could mention what we thought worked, and what didnt work,
Hello world!
This is to be my home on the web now. Where I’ll be writing about pretty much all my rants, gaming related stuff. Basically anything I feel like writing about, that isnt directly to someone, in a forum post, or on techspree.
I’ll be testing out features here too, and other silly stuff. But mostly all my gaming reviews
What this space ^.^
Heroes Over Europe Multiplayer Vignette Q&A
1) Heroes Over Europe Multiplayer offers 4 different modes: Dogfight, Team Dogfight, Survivor and Team Survivor… What are the main differences between those four?
Heroes Over Europe has four different multiplayer modes: Dogfight, Team Dogfight, Survivor and Team Survivor. Each of the multiplayer modes is presented with normal and team options, so players can play a simple dogfight game against all other players or the sixteen players can split into two teams to fight it out. Survivor mode is a last-man-standing mode, where the planes don’t respawn during each of the game’s rounds. This leads to totally different strategies, especially in team games, as players fight to stay alive rather than just going for kills at all costs.
2) How many maps will be playable online?
Heroes Over Europe has four multiplayer maps, each of which represents a different area of the game. The French Alps map has the snow and cloud-covered mountain peaks which are both cover and obstacles at the same time. The London map takes the battle to the skies above London as the afternoon sunlight glints off rooftops. The Berlin map is a night-fight, with the dark sky pierced by the beams of searchlights. Finally, the Dover map takes the fight to the green fields of the Dover coastline with added aerial obstacles: barrage balloons.
3) Will the player be rewarded with experience through online dogfights?
When playing only, experienced multiplayer pilots gain several achievements/trophies for earning a specific number of kills, Super Ace for 50 kills and Ultimate Ace for 250 online kills. When you earn these achievements, you are also rewarded with special Squad Leader HUD indicators that other players can see. Players who’ve earned these indicators are dangerous should be treated with respect, so watch out!
4) In the video we see that the players will have to choose their planes gathered in different packs (Pilot Pack, Veterans Pack, Speed Pack…). Could you give us details on these packs and how they will enable to create different games on a same map?
Heroes Over Europe has a number of plane packs that are chosen for each battle. The plane packs are: Rookie, Pilot, Veterans RAF, Veteran USAAF, Speed Pack, Rocket Pack 1 and Rocket Pack 2. Each of the plane packs has a selection of six pre-balanced planes that offer the player different strategies for their online battles. The Rookie pack has the slowest and weakest planes, like the Swordfish, Tomahawk, Hurricane, and Stuka. The Veteran packs have a selection of powerful planes from either the RAF or the USAAF. For the RAF pack it’s the Spitfire, Tempest, Hurricane, Mosquito, Me 109 and Fw 190. The USAAF version of the Veteran plane pack has the Fw 190, Black Widow, Mustang, Lightning, Thunderbolt and the Me 109. The Rocket pack has planes that have rockets (duh), including the Tempest, Typhoon, Lightning, Mustang, Thunderbolt, and Me 109.
In addition to the plane packs, there are a number of modifiers that can be used to customize the online battles (outside of the usual kill and time limits), these modifiers include: Weapon Damage Multiplier, Health Multiplier, Unlimited War Speed, Unlimited Primary Ammo, Unlimited Secondary Ammo and Lead Target Bead Visibility.
